On the way to your campus

Of all possible means of transport, the bicycle is and remains the most sustainable option. Since everyone benefits from clean air and a healthy planet, we highly recommend traveling by bike. Fortunately, if you don't have your own bike, or don't find it practical to drag it to your student city, there is VZW MOBIEL.

Right opposite the station (exit Min. Tacklaan) you can find Mobiel vzw (www.mobiel.be) where you at a bargain price of €8.00 per month you can rent a glitzy student bike (non-electric). In case of defects, they also repair your steel steed with a smile. In terms of simplicity and ease of use, this couldn't be much better.

BY BUS

A few years ago, the city of Kortrijk, the student facilities and De Lijn made a wonderful deal: each student gets a free bus pass with which he or she can ride any bus on the territory of Greater Kortrijk without restrictions. For this, you only pay an administrative fee of €10.

Students get to and from their campus safely and quickly and we're reducing the number of cars: so everyone is happy.

All students from KU Leuven Kulak, Howest, UGent Campus Kortrijk and VIVES can get on and off the bus throughout the academic year. How do I request this?

• You ask that yearly when you register or re-enroll
• As a student, do you have a MOBIB card (via NMBS or via De Lijn)? Be sure to provide this number to your educational institution (via Toledo (VIVES and KU Leuven Kulak) or via the form (Howest or UGent Campus Kortrijk)!
• As a student, you don't have a MOBIB card yet? Stop by an NMBS or De Lijn counter and buy it (it's only a few 5 euros). Be sure to provide this number to your educational institution (via Toledo (VIVES and KU Leuven Kulak) or via the form (Howest or UGent Campus Kortrijk)!
• Pay a cost of 10 euro (via invoice or you pay it on site on campus)
• After paying the 10 euro, your educational institution will provide your details to De Lijn and you can travel by bus about 2 weeks later.

When you are on the bus, you must always have your student card with you and you must be able to prove this during a possible check. This bus pass is only valid on Kortrijk territory.
