The Student Services Department, or Stuvo for short, at your educational institution is available to provide you with information, advice and support with your student life.
Your local Stuvo offers the following support:
- Financial support (help applying for a student allowance, any allowances and allowances from the educational institution,...)
- Social support
- Support if you have it mentally you have a difficult time. A psychosocial counselor or student psychologist is there for you.
- Mediation in case of disagreement about your rental agreement
- Study coaching and support for students with disabilities (only at KU Leuven; in the other institutions, this support is offered through the course itself)
In addition, your Stuvo also facilitates the following services:
- Housing (unlocking the room offer via kotwest.be, some institutions also have their own residences)
- Mobility (cheap bus pass offer, cooperation with mobiel.be to rent a bike,...)
- Nutrition (student restaurant where you can have a sandwich or hot meal at an affordable price)
- Sport (sports at a reduced rate, organizing sporting events)
- Student life (cooperation “Kortrijk Student City”, subsidies for student activities)
- Culture (reduced rate in cultural centres and stimulating creative impulses)
